Megan Comes Home

It was a huge surprise to have Megan come home so soon. She now weighs 3lbs 12 oz. When I came in Tuesday morning to see her, the doctor came up to me and said she can come home today. I was so shocks he had to repeat it to me a couple of times, but when it finally sunk in I quickly called Josh. This is just amazing and a wonderful Christmas gift to have her come home so soon. WE are so thankful and bless to finally have our family together. Thanks for all your prayers. Megan in her car seat getting ready to come home.
Karlie and Liam finally get a chance to hold there little sister for the first time. They were so happy to get to do this. Now that she home they are being good little helpers for mom and dad. Liam's wants Megan to sleep in his bed and Karlie wants to feed Megan with the bottle, Some of there wishes will come true but not all of them, but it's funny hear how much they want to help.

Megan's Last Days in the NICU

A quick picture of little Megan with out all the blankets and cloths. That rarely happens, changing her outfit in a challenge because she is so small, and those lims like to go flying everywhere.
Megan in her isolet, it's nice and warm in there.

I'm a big girl now! A big step for her on this day she was moved to an open crib. This means she has enough fat on her to maintain her body temperature.

I loved this oneses, but it's not mine it belongs to the NICU. The staff had allot of fun dressing her up, she was in a different outfit every day.

Megan taking her car seat test. She has to pass a 1 hour test to make sure she can breath OK before she can come home.

Megan's Getting Bigger

12-12-08
Megan gets her first real bath,
She had a little bit of a too messy diaper, so they decided to clean her up.
She still had her feeding tube in the picture.

The Feeding tube comes off. This is a great day. Now she's taking all her feeding through a bottle or by breast.

12-15-08
After a good feeding Megan was wide awake for a little bit looking around. This is her in her Isolet. It helps her maintain her body temp.
